Growers bring their harvest to Famoso. We hull it, shell it, sort it and pack it, then sell almonds to buyers around the world. The hulls and shells go to regional dairies.

Receiving
Growers deliver their almonds straight from harvest. We work with them directly, so every load is received and handled with care from the moment it arrives.

Hulling & shelling
Our huller removes the hull and shell. Hulls and shells go on to regional dairies, so nothing from the crop is wasted.

Sorting & packing
Almonds are sorted and inspected, then packed in cartons, bags, fiber bins or totes under BRCGS AA+ food-safety controls.

Shipping
Shelled and inshell almonds leave McFarland by the truckload, packed to each buyer’s specification and shipped worldwide.
